Light Weight Firing Pin Extension, Uberti Model 1866, 1873, Old & New Styles

This firing pin extension is made from steel, drilled from the front end to make it hollow, then plugged .

It weighs 40% less than the stock Uberti extension, and will allow reliable firing with a lightened hammer spring.

New style extensions are attached to the bolt with a metal wedge inserted from the bottom. Old style extensions are attached to the bolt with a horizontal pin inserted from the side.
